Iona Beach Walk and Learn

MacCormack Beach Provincial Park, Iona NS
Naturalists from around Cape Breton /Unama’ki will be stationed along the walk to answer any questions you may have about the wildlife, plants and geology of this special place. At lunch a family-friendly activity will be offered for those who would like a chance to win a special prize. As well, Aros na mara will give us an update in the Marine Science and Energy Research Centre and other ongoing projects.
All ages welcome!
Meet at the MacCormack Provincial Park for registration at 10 am. Smooth roadway or forest walk options exits to access the experts sharing knowledge.
After the hike lunch will be available at the Iona Heights Inn Pub from a preset menu.
