Salt Mountain Hike

Kick off Exlpore the Bras d'Or with one of the best hikes around. This intermediate 2.7 KM loop trail gains a steep 252 meters in elevation, and the views of Bras d'Or are spectacular on clear days. So bring your good footwear and drinking water, pack a lunch and dress for the conditions. This is a semi-guided hike by the Bras d'Or Lake Biosphere Reserve Association Forest Watch committee. There will be an in person registration set up prior to the hike. Please social distance hike and bring a mask for any closer group interactions such as registration or interpretive opportunities.
