Whycocomagh Beach Walk, Wonder and Learn
WHYCOCOMAGH PP – SATURDAY – JULY 29, 2023 1-4PM
Wander around the mature Acadian Forest trails of Lower Whycocomagh Provincial Park and stop to learn from Naturalist Interpreters and local experts stationed throughout the well-maintained trails. One set of stairs is required to access the beach below the picnic park where interpreters will be located.
Join us on the south side of Highway 105 at the large and well-maintained day-use picnic park. Whycocomagh Provincial Park is made up of 2 sites, the South side is the Bras d’Or Lake side, opposite of the Salt Mountain / campground side. There is parking available on both sides, however, please be cautious if you must cross the highway.
A family-friendly activity will be offered for a chance to win a special prize from your Bras d’Or Biosphere Region Association.
